Jade Muncy is a UIndy senior majoring in Communication and Creative Writing. She is the Promotions and Interactive Media Director at UIndy for the second year in a row and has been involved with the program since her first semester. Her passions include (but aren’t limited to) writing, directing, shooting, editing, leading a department, being over-prepared, poetry by Billy Collins, and cacti. In the future she hopes to work in video production, but her ultimate career goal is to do something inherently creative.
Daviona Johnson is a senior at the University of Indianapolis. Her major is Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media. This is her fourth semester in Television. Johnson is interested in film production and wants to learn as much about storytelling as possible.
Gabby Guerra is a sophomore with a junior status at the University of Indianapolis. She’s majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media and a minor in Marketing. She found herself loving being on camera and producing her own skits and commercials during her first year at UIndy TV, and she plans to continue to grow in the Entertainment Department. One of her personal goals is to one day have her own show on either Televisa (Mexico) or America Television (Peru). She’s a passionate and talented young lady that cannot wait to go out and conquer the television world.
Michaela Ward is a sophomore majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media and Experience Design . Ward comes from Beech Grove High School where she developed a passion for producing, directing, and editing. She grew up here in the Indianapolis area about five minutes away from UIndy. She looks forward to excelling this semester by working hard in the Promotions department to create content for UIndy TV. She is also excited to work with the Production department to create a short film for the 317 Film Fest at the end of the semester. As a second year student, she looks forward to attaining more skills in editing as well as directing while continuing to fuel her passion for becoming an editor/producer.
Lucy Smyth is a UIndy freshman majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media. She is working in promotions and is excited for her first semester within UIndy TV. She comes from Whiteland Community high school where she developed a love for writing, editing, photography, doodling, and singing off key. She looks forward to learning about storytelling and film editing. Her career goal is to find out what she wants to do and go for it.
